This Church was completed in 1930. The design as built, created by Carlton M. Winslow, Sr, was inspired by California's early mission architecture.

On the street side you enter through wrought iron gates to a landscaped courtyard. The doorway leads to a vestibule that has a wrought iron gate leading into a breath taking sanctuary.

From the wood beamed ceiling to the extravagantly appointed altar this location looks more like it has already been "dressed" rather than one waiting to be completed.

There is a second floor balcony overlooking the sanctuary that provides the ability to capture a very dramatic shot – the "money shot." The balcony can hold camera, equipment and crew.

The downstairs area provides a completely different look. The basement, with its own street door access, looks like a cafeteria/meeting room complete with stage. It also has an industrial kitchen.

Centrally located near several freeways, this is an easy-to-reach and -shoot location.

This fabulous Spa & Health Club is like everyone else here in Los Angeles it just had a multi-million dollar face-lift and when you walk inside you can see every dollar that was spent.
 
As you pull in off the street you enter an enormous parking lot that will be your Base Camp unless you have multiple exteriors.
 
The entrance foyer leads to a separate men’s spa and a separate women’s spa – both equally elegant and well appointed. Before you enter either spa there is a lobby with an elevator that leads to the second floor that allows for camera placement looking down on the men’s side of the facility.

The men’s location is enormous. A hallway off of the lobby leads to a maze of polished wood lockers that lead into a grooming area complete with multiple sinks and surrounded by mirrors. Off to one side is a filmable bathroom. In this same area there is a marble steam room and a dry wood sauna.
 
The next room is the “money” shot; it is a two story high marble walled room that has the pools. Up a half a dozen steps from the main floor is a Jacuzzi surrounded by a red cold pool and a blue hot pool. The effect from the entrance is amazing. But, there is even a better POV from the second floor that overlooks this opulent area.
 
This room also includes glass walled sweat rooms and showers.
 
 
On the other side is the women’s spa that you enter from a hallway off the lobby; at the end of the hallway is an oversized dressing room.  Included in this area is a circular mirrored grooming bar as well as a sitting area with a coffee set up.  Off this space are two rooms with polished wood lockers and a filmable bathroom.
 
Off of this space is a short hallway that has doors leading into a marble steam room and a wood dry sauna.

The pool area is marble; included in this oversized space is a hot blue pool on one side, a cold red pool on the other and a Jacuzzi in between. The wall behind the three pools is a waterfall.
 
Leading off one side of this pool area is a very large communal shower.
 
If all of this isn’t enough downstairs is a work out room and off of that is an Olympic size swimming pool.

This ideal restaurant contains many rooms & many looks. The room that you use depends on what the script calls for and if the script calls for more than one restaurant or café we can do that too.

The parking lot entrance leads into an outdoor circular bar patio area; this space can be approached from either side of the parking lot.

Entering off the back patio you walk down the hall into a light, airy room complete with a wooden bar. This peaceful setting leads out to another outdoor patio that includes a stage. The stage is large enough to accommodate a band or be set with a podium for a speaker.

Going further into the restaurant is a room that can cheat a piano lounge. It has that warm, cozy feeling and a beautiful baby grand piano.

On the other side of the room with the POV of the kitchen there is a space with a Spanish flavor. This area, with its many skylights, has a lanai feel to it. This room leads to a patio eating area. This space can cheat an outdoor restaurant or café anywhere in the US or beyond.

The front entrance, which lends a neighborhood restaurant feel to the location, opens into the idea local eatery. The brick walls and cozy booths are a perfect setting.

There is also a full commercial kitchen available for shooting. The attached parking lot can easily accommodate your working trucks and then some.

Opened for a Papal visit in 2008 the Taglyan Arts & Cultural Complex offers Old World opulence just a few blocks from ultra modern Hollywood & Vine.

The massive iron gates open off of a quiet side street and lead you into a brick courtyard that opens into an incredible formal garden. A marble two -tiered fountain is the centerpiece of this elegant setting.

These gardens lead to an imposing limestone building with an oversized lobby area that offers a variety of possible uses. The lobby leads into what can only be described as a huge ballroom complete with a 5,000 sq ft circular stained glass ceiling. There is also a stage at the front of the room. The freestanding staircase in the lobby leads to an ultra-modern mezzanine level. This floor reflects the hip, trendy feel that is the Andaz. From the furniture to the art- work to the metal chain curtain that runs the length of the front glass - wall this subtly says there is no chicer place to be.

This area can cheat an upscale architect’s office or advertising agency. There is an elevator foyer that can allow it to be used as any type of office without going through the lobby. It is whatever you need it to be if it’s clean, contemporary and upscale.

Off of this great area are three conference rooms. The first is a clean, simple conference room. Two walls are paneled and it has a very contemporary conference table and chairs.

The second conference room is substantially bigger. It has paneling surrounded by painted walls. There is a contemporary bar and a projection set-up at one end. A curtained off area sits off in one corner. The room is ringed with modern circular pillars. This space can b set up in a variety of ways depending on your needs.

The Montebello City Hall is now opened for filming & the Mayor wants the Location community to know that the City will do everything possible to accommodate your shoot. Fortunately not only is the building film friendly but it also offers a variety of great spaces. The glass & marble lobby opens on one side to tiered steps & a main – street, the other side to a beautifully landscaped area. High ceilings give it a very opened feeling. It can cheat a government building, a museum, an office building or any lobby that calls for a spacious feel.

The City Council Chamber is available for filming most days of the week & the City will consider moving Council meetings to accommodate filming schedules. The counter & reception area outside of the Mayor’s office can cheat an anti room in any government or business office. The Mayor’s office is large enough to hold the usual upscale office furniture plus a conference table. There is a second conference room as well as a classroom in the building. There are several long hallways that are perfect for walk & talk scenes. An additional area, with a separate entrance, has a counter backed by a secretarial pool space, several private offices & a conference room. For filming’s convenience the front parking lots comes complete with police cars that they will allow you to “skin” and change from Montebello to the name in your show. The lobby looks like any government facility --- from the Bureau of Records to Permit Depts. to the Traffic Dept. where you go to pay your tickets. All that is missing is your signage.

Montebello Police Station Administration” -- Here we have a reception space that can “cheat” anything & everything; from a police dept. to a doctor or dentist’s office. The enclosed counter is backed by a secretarial pool space; the reverse is the sitting area & elevator. ***** This area also has a communications/ dispatch room that comes complete with all the bells, whistles, monitors and computers necessary to respond to crime in real time. Yes they will close it down for filming – No we are not endangering anyone in the City, they still have a fully functioning backup that has never been taken apart. ***** Do you need a bullpen area for your detectives we have one that is completely furnished, not in use & always available for filming. There is also the real detectives bullpen that has limited availability. Fire Station # 55 is the largest of the 3 firehouses in Montebello. This location has everything that you ever imagined a fire station has -- including a pole that goes from the sleeping quarters to the fire trucks. No, I haven’t tried it yet!!!!!!!!! This location also contains office space, a file room, garages, and an enormous break room. The station wants filming and will provide total cooperation. They have even offered to rent production their trucks.

Fire Station # 56 – This fire station comes with almost all of the same bells & whistles as File # 353 – one exception is that it doesn’t have a pole. It does have an elevator to bring the firemen to their trucks. (See photo on Page 32). This fire - house has long hallways great for walk & talk. The location also has a locker room, offices, a break room, exterior exercise area and sleeping space. This station house also comes complete with very friendly firemen who can explain all the details to make your shoot look like the real deal. There are no palm trees at this location.

This is the perfect neighborhood park – large enough to shoot many locations, however, it still maintains a small cozy feel if you look at it from one of the homes located across the street from it’s North side.

Its East side even has a sloped area that gives you a woodsier feel. Shoot it from the South side & the reverse is the police station giving it a more city fee. This is one of the 30 schools that make up the Montebello Unified School District. The most modern campus of all of the facilities, it was built in 2011. This school can obviously play as a high tech school but can also “cheat” an architect’s office, an upscale design firm or a version of a High Tech Silicon Beach/Valley Company.

The glass & steel building surrounds an oversized courtyard, in addition to this magnificent building there are several other great exterior locations. There is a large produce garden, a fenced in space that is used by the construction & engineering students & a soccer field. They also have a basketball court and an incredible outdoor café.

There is a regulation-training course used in police & sheriff’s training and qualifications testing.

In addition to the many exterior opportunities the inside also has many possible locations. Along side the gated entrance that leads to the courtyard there is a door that leads to the administration office, that includes a secretarial area, a few great offices & a conference room.

The teaching kitchen is high tech & amazing, it even includes television monitors for instructional purposes or anything that you want to put on a loop & play. Attached to that kitchen is an oversized room that can be set up as a cafeteria or dressed as a restaurant.

The Computer Lab can “cheat” a grade school, middle school, high school or college Lab. The classrooms, again, can “cheat” any school that has a modern look.

The workout room comes complete with modern exercise machines and there is a woodshop where you can film all the saws and machines in action.
