File 77: Character House

If you want a location that can be a “character” in your script this is it. Designed by Disney theme park designer Robert F McDonnell as his personal residence this is an amazing location. Once you go through the gates and enter the property, known as “Graystone Manor, you are faced with a castle like structure that can be used to create a magical setting or the perfect murder scene – depending on what you’re working on this season. To the right of the entry gates is a Porte – Cochere that leads into a double garage. To the left are paths that lead to the front door. That front door opens into a living room with a massive stone fireplace and a vaulted ceiling. This leads into a dining room with yet another large stone fireplace. The spacious master bedroom has it’s own balcony that again can be magical & romantic or a place for murder. There is also a filmable master bath. The third floor has enough space to create a second location, an apartment within the house, without leaving the property.
